Meow Dyer Cat Café Lounge Rules
Our lounge is the cats' home first and a place for guests to relax second. Following these rules helps keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy.

Before You Enter

All guests must have a current Lounge Waiver on file before entering the lounge.

Guests under 18 must have parent or legal guardian authorization.

Guests ages 13–17 may visit without an adult only if a parent or legal guardian has authorized unaccompanied visits through a current waiver.

All guests must check in with a staff member before entering the lounge.

Respect the Cats
Our cats choose how and when they interact with people.
​
Please:

Let cats approach you first whenever possible.

Pet cats gently.
-
Respect a cat's space if they walk away or choose to sleep.

Speak quietly and move calmly.

Please do not:

Pick up cats unless a staff member says it's okay.

Chase, corner, grab, or restrain a cat.
-
Wake sleeping cats.
-
Pull tails, ears, or whiskers.
-
Feed cats without staff permission.
-
Use laser pointers or toys in any inappropriate manner.

Children
Children are welcome!
To help create a safe environment:

Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult at all times.

Adults are responsible for their children's behavior in the lounge.

Running, yelling, rough play, or climbing on furniture is not permitted.

If a child becomes disruptive, we may ask your group to take a break from the lounge.

Photography
We love seeing your photos!

Feel free to take pictures for personal use, but please:

Turn off your flash.

Respect other guests' privacy.

Avoid blocking walkways or disturbing cats to get a photo.

Health & Safety
Please do not enter the lounge if you:

Are feeling ill.
-
Have a contagious illness.
-
Have open wounds that cannot be covered.

Wash or sanitize your hands before entering and after leaving the lounge.

Respect the Space
Please help us keep the lounge clean and comfortable.

Leave cat toys in the lounge.

Keep doors closed behind you.

Notify staff immediately if you notice a cat becoming ill, injured, or attempting to escape.

Follow all staff instructions.

We Reserve the Right to Remove Guests
For the safety of our cats, staff, and other guests, Meow Dyer Cat Café reserves the right to end a lounge visit without a refund if a guest:

Harasses or mistreats a cat.
-
Refuses to follow staff instructions.
-
Behaves in a manner that is unsafe or disruptive.
-
Violates these lounge rules.
